Birthday Weekend

Last weekend was my birthday! (Rejoice, Libra’s) Although I was fighting a sinus cold, I managed to be able to celebrate my day of birth with the people I love most. As we all know, gifts are not the most important part of your special day. However, I also managed to score some great gifts as well. 🙂

My day was spent with relaxation and my best (fur) friends, Tyson and Chuck. ❤

Once the love of my life got home from class, he took me to get my favorite beverage at Starbucks and we went for a lovely drive. We ended our drive at an awesome restaurant where my fantastic Brother and my sister-in-law met us for dinner.

 

 

We shared great conversation and a pricey bottle of Rose. As we were finishing up, we look over and see Bernard Pollard of the Tennessee Titans eating dessert with his lady.

We then went home and had delicious cake! The next day I hung my fantastic gifts from my brother and sister-in-law!

New Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tints

Allow me to introduce to you my new favorite lip balm. Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tints. The famous “Chubby Stick” has been around for a while and has been loved by many. Their sheer moisturizing coverage made me fall in love with them. Then, people started wanting something with more color. So, Clinique brilliantly gave them what they wanted by producing the Chubby Stick Intense. Same great feel, but more great color.

As summer comes to a close, people are wanting to finish it off right with a unique sheer color. Enter, Chubby Stick Baby Tint. These great moisturizing lip balms are very sheer but react to each individuals chemistry to create an effortless sheer color. On my lips, they look very pink. I naturally have very pink lips, so these really accentuate that. On my friend who has a deep olive skin tone, they look a little more coral. My point being, they look different on everyone!!!

There are four different shades and they are priced at $17.00! I highly recommend going to your nearest Clinique counter and trying these ‘babies’ out! 🙂

A Big Thanks

First off, I want to thank you all for following my blog posts! I started blogging a while ago on Blogger but for some reason, I never stuck with it. When I joined WordPress this week I made a goal: keep up with this blog! My goal is to post at the very least twice a week. So far, I’ve written a post everyday. Coffee Talk

We all have had those friends that we can grab a cup of joe with and talk about everything under the sun. These meetings keep us sane. At least they made me sane. Unfortunately, after moving far far away from home, I left my coffee talk buddy. We have been best friends since first grade of elementary school. In high school we started going to the cutest little coffee shops in our small town in Bigfork, MT. Conversations consisted of boys, family, friends, biology homework, what our lives might be like after high school, and so much more. We helped each other through some really challenging times. There’s no greater feeling in the world than having a friend like that. I would give anything to be sitting on a comfy leather couch at Colter’s Coffee with a Mocha Caramel Frappe talking to my best friend about all of the crazy happenings in life.

Getting Ready For Fall Y’all

Out with the old and in with the new. At least, that’s how the saying goes. This summer has been everything but boring. But, I’m definitely ready for Fall! After all, the autumn is my favorite season of the year. It’s almost time for pies, pumpkin spice latte’s, sweaters, Leggings, crisp fall air, orange leaves, Football (even if I don’t like sports), dark lips, scarves, and oh so much more. I can’t wait!!!! That being said, I organized my closet this evening in preparation for Fall.

Fall fashion is my favorite! There’s nothing better than knee high boots, boot socks, scarves, plaid, herringbone fabrics, leather jackets, mittens, and a sexy dark red lip.
