Possibly My Dream Job

Hello friends!!!

I have exciting news. As a lot of you know, I have been on the job hunt. As a recent college graduate, I wasted no time jumping into mailing off resumes and searching (what seemed to be endlessly) for a new job. While I loved being a Clinique Consultant, it just wasn’t the career I wanted for myself. That being said, I stopped at nothing to find a job in the Visual Merchandising field.

Luckily, I received countless emails and phone calls from companies who wanted to interview me. After seven interviews with different companies, I received an offer from Elaine Turner in Nashville. While I had been into this adorable boutique a few times, it never actually dawned on me to apply. However, LinkedIn had other plans. Being on LinkedIn is such a great way to connect and discuss job opportunities with many different employers and employees alike. I came across the store manager’s profile and decided to message her to see if there were any job openings in visual. After three interviews, I was in!

After accepting the position I felt empowered. Not only am I the Visual Lead, but I am also a supervisor. I’ve never had managing experience and I am so glad to be training in a management position. This will give me the opportunity to move up within the company.

So here’s a little about this great company:

Elaine Turner was started in 2000 when Elaine Turner and her husband decided to start a fun lifestyle boutique in Houston, TX. The company has had a lot of success and has opened eleven stores. Most of them in Texas and one in New York and one in Nashville. The company is mainly a retailer of handbags and shoes but also carries unique jewelry, clothing, and tech accessories. I am so excited to be a part of this trendy company and can’t wait to grow.

Head on over to elaineturner.com ! There are some great new collections for Spring!!!
