Hello everyone! As some of you know, I have started my college internship. I am in my last term of fashion school and cannot wait to graduate in December! As a part of my last term, my school requires their students to have at least one hundred and twenty hours of an internship related to the student’s related field study. It took me a while to find my internship. I was very picky. I didn’t want to intern for a huge corporation but I wanted a credible internship. After searching for a few months, I found the perfect internship opportunity.
Let me just tell you; it’s all about networking. I met a business owner at work (where I sell makeup and skincare all day). My co-worker was helping her and noticed her adorable necklace. When she asked who made it the woman informed her that she did. She is a local jewelry designer/maker. My co-worker knows I love everything fashion and cute and we all began talking about her business. We exchanged contact information.
A few weeks later it hit me. Why not intern for this awesome company?! So I got in touch with her and after a few meetings, we decided I would intern for her. Anyway, I am so incredibly excited to be an intern for Christina Kober Designs! If you would like to check out her work visit her website! christinakoberdesigns.com or find her on Etsy! Her jewelry is so unique and simplistic. I’m in love with her jewelry!
Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!
Hi everyone! I just want to say, I’m so very sorry I have been M.I.A. For a while! As some of you know, I’ve started my internship and I am still working for Clinique as well as going to school. Needless to say, I’ve been a very busy gal!
I will be posting this week and updating you on my new internship adventure! I’m so very excited to be embarking on this journey!
Hope everyone is doing well!
Happy fall y’all!
A lot of you know me as someone who consumes a lot of latte’s, cappuccino’s, and the occasional good ol’ cup of Joe. Well, being a college student requires you to be wise with your money. Being wise with your money, to me, means save every penny you have to buy a grande Caramel Macchiato at the nearest Starbucks every day. Now, some of you, or a lot of you, may think this sounds silly. There are children starving all over the world, and I save every penny for my next latte. And you’re right, it is silly. But, that is me. Coffee addict.
That being said, I finally caved in and purchased a cheap Mr. Coffee Espresso Maker. I shoved my Kuerig in the back of my pantry, and I am officially saving money by making my own latte’s at home. A big step for me.
My first, and favorite drink to make is: Caramel Macchiato. Yum! This Caramel Macchiato Eight O’ Clock ground coffee is delicious for this kind of task! The French Vanilla syrup from Archer Farms and Torani Caramel sauce make it the perfect treat! The super cute fall to go cups are from Target.
And Voila!!! I am currently researching new latte’s to concoct. This adorable coffee cup was a birthday gift!
Having espresso at my finger tips during all times of the day means I will get a lot more done! Hello energy!
Last weekend was my birthday! (Rejoice, Libra’s) Although I was fighting a sinus cold, I managed to be able to celebrate my day of birth with the people I love most. As we all know, gifts are not the most important part of your special day. However, I also managed to score some great gifts as well. 🙂
My day was spent with relaxation and my best (fur) friends, Tyson and Chuck. ❤
Once the love of my life got home from class, he took me to get my favorite beverage at Starbucks and we went for a lovely drive. We ended our drive at an awesome restaurant where my fantastic Brother and my sister-in-law met us for dinner.
We shared great conversation and a pricey bottle of Rose. As we were finishing up, we look over and see Bernard Pollard of the Tennessee Titans eating dessert with his lady.
We then went home and had delicious cake! The next day I hung my fantastic gifts from my brother and sister-in-law!
Thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday! I had a fabulous day!
